Question by Sarah 408: Is it safe to have sex after one day of your period while on birth control?

I have been on birth control for 2 months now. However, I had unprotected sex the day after my period while i was on the "sugar pills" am i still protected?

Yes you should be, But you should always try to have another source of protection if you do not want a child, the pill is not 100% effective.
